New dark (“smoked”) transparent acrylic dustcover base.
Correct for the following Bang & Olufsen models:
Beogram 5005
Beogram 5500
Beogram 6500
Beogram 7000
Beogram 9000
but will also fit all other Beogram models of the type 59xx build series.
This is the dark (“smoked”-color) transparent acrylic part of the dustcover including rubber bumpers for the front corners and threaded metal inserts for fastening to the Beograms hinges.

Manufactured by Danish Sound Parts, this is a direct replacement for the original part.
Please choose a top plate for this base from our top plate selection here.
Note: The weight of the new product can in some cases differ from the original.
This can become particularly apparent, if the top plate is also renewed, and the mere choice of top plate can make a difference as well.
Original dust covers can vary a bit in weight as well – not a lot, but a few grams can make a difference, and the springs
fitted from factory vary accordingly.
Some servicemanuals will inform this, but for some models different springs are listed with the same part#.
In other words, it’s a little unpredictable.
If the tension of the springs is found to be insufficient to keep the lid safely in its open position, the solution is to take
out the springs, pull them longer by hand so they will end up being 5-10mm longer when the springs are at rest, and then fit them again.
Note: For cleaning this product use only a soft cloth. If very dirty use handwarm water and dishwasher liquid.
Never use any solvents (acetone, ethanol, gasoline etc.) when cleaning this product.
