Description
Set of new leaf blade switch contacts for the operation panel in the following Bang & Olufsen models:
Beogram 4002
Beogram 4004
Beogram 6000 (Type 55xx tangential only)
The set contains 7 contact pairs (7 contact blades and 7 contact bridges). Enough for a complete frontpanel overhaul.
The original contact parts are known to oxidize heavily causing malfunction.
These new parts are plated to prevent oxidation.
Cleaning the original contact parts is possible, but it will still require disassembly, and it will not prevent the forming of new oxidation anyways, so replacing the original parts is recommended.
These are direct replacements for original part numbers 7500050 (“contact bridge”) and 7500075 (“contact spring”).
Note:
In some versions of the above mentioned models, the same type of contacts are used for the carriage position switches found on the circuit board under the carriage and/or for the tonearm lift/lower circuit, in different quantities. Check before ordering – you may need two sets for your Beogram.
