Description
Pair of new hinges for the flip-down metal cover for the following Bang & Olufsen remote controls:
Master Control Panel (MCP) 5000
Master Control Panel (MCP) 5500
Master Control Panel (MCP) 6500
These are the long version, found in some production series of the above mentioned models.
Note:
It has become apparent that, due to production tolerances, some hinges may lock better into the slots in the front door than others.
The solution in these cases is to add a little pre-tension to the outermost tip.
Bending the outermost 6-8mm tip downwards a few degrees (it won’t break), fitting the part and pressing the tip down into its round groove will lock the part into place.
