Description
Set of new red LED display assemblies for the following Bang & Olufsen models:
Beocenter 5000
Beocenter 7000
Beocenter 7002
Beocenter 7007
Beocenter 7700
The set includes:
One 4-digit red LED display (“88:88”) for the tape counter and/or clock readout and
one 3-digit red LED display (“TP8”) for the audio source readout.
The original displays are known to develop dead and/or intermittent segments causing unintelligible readout.
These are direct replacements for original part# 8330011, 8330013 (later 8330028, 8330029).
No modification to any circuits necessary.

Note:
You can choose to mount the new displays with their new pins, which will require the soldering work to be done from the solder side of the CPU module PCB, or you can choose to desolder the pins and replace only the display assy, leaving the original pins in the circuit board, which allows for replacement from the component side.
Because the source display is also used for other models, it has the black plastic pin support fitted. This can be pried and/or pulled off if needed.
