New solenoid for the tonearm lowering mechanism in the following Bang & Olufsen models:
Beogram 4000
Beogram 4002
Beogram 4004
Beogram 6000 (type 55xx tangential models only)
The original solenoid can burn, if the controlling electronics fail, or if the solenoid operated switch found in some models lose electrical contact or is not activated.
In these cases the base problem should be diagnosed and repaired before fitting a new solenoid, or the new solenoid will also burn.
This is a direct replacement for the original part.
